What We Collect

Self-Hosted Telemetry

When telemetry is enabled (CDDI_TELEMETRY=true), the following anonymous data is sent daily:

  • Random instance UUID (not tied to your organization)
  • Software version
  • Count of distinct users (hashed, not identifiable)
  • Query count per day
  • Which EBS modules were queried (PO, INV, AP, etc.)
  • Average response time and success rate
  • Online Demo (demo.interpretos.com)

When you use the online demo, we collect:

  • Email address and organization name (required to start the demo)
  • Queries you submit and the responses generated
  • Timestamps, query count, and session duration
  • Which integrations and modules you interacted with
  • This data is used to improve the product, understand which features matter most, and follow up with you about Interpretos. Your demo data is retained for 90 days, then deleted. You can request early deletion by emailing privacy@interpretos.com.

Demo queries are processed through our AI backend. No data from the demo is shared with third parties beyond the LLM provider (Google Gemini) used to generate responses.

    Trial Registration (interpretos.ai/try)

When you register for a free trial, we collect your email address and organization name to generate a license key and provide LLM proxy access. This data is retained for the duration of the trial plus 90 days.

What We Do NOT Collect (Self-Hosted)

  • Query text or content
  • Database records or EBS data
  • IP addresses or hostnames
  • Usernames, passwords, or credentials
  • Organization name or identifying information
  • How Data Is Used

Aggregate metrics for product improvement only. We track which modules are most used and where performance needs improvement.

    Opt Out

Set CDDI_TELEMETRY=false in your environment or docker-compose.yml. Telemetry is disabled by default.

    Data Retention

Heartbeat data is retained for 12 months, then deleted.

    GDPR

Self-hosted telemetry data is anonymous and does not constitute personal data under GDPR.

For the online demo and trial registration, we process your email address and usage data under legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for product improvement and sales follow-up. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@interpretos.com.
